An opportunity to play Louis Armstrong themes. An actor, Jean Chollet, wrote a text on the life of Louis Armstrong. He presented his text in several shows at his theater: le Bateau Lune (moonship) in Cheseaux, Vaud, Switzerland.
Our orchestra chose its name after the name of the theater: Moonship Washboard Five.
We played these 12 pieces to accompany the text.
